Community
Things are tough right now in the world. We can’t deny that. During times like these, it is without a doubt that we need to find things that bring us joy and spaces that bring us comfort and peace.
One of the places where I have found the most amount of community is, believe it or not, Bookstagram. It’s also kind of put me in a little bit of debt (so many good book recs), but reading is an escape.
I’ve also found many amazing and talented sapphic authors on the platform. It’s so uplifting to be engaging with people who are there to support you and lift you up.
With that being said, I wanted to introduce you to some of them in case you aren’t already aware of them. Maybe you will find your next favorite author or book. I will include links to follow them on Instagram, a list of their available books, and a little bit about them.
In case you aren’t already following me on Insta, here is my link:
First up, K. E. Bartlet:
Fast paced and intriguing action with My Dumpling, Your Dumpling
North Korea is moving troops. An NSA engineer is missing. The CIA is compromised. Time to call the ones no one knows exist.

What happens when you mix political techno thriller à la Tom Clancy with a queer female veteran author? An adrenaline packed adventure with queer and female protagonists, because the guys aren’t the only protagonists out there, and with geopolitical suspense, the human condition, and great food at every turn.
Available on Amazon and through Kindle Unlimited.
T.J. Dallas is next:
T.J. is a prolific writer of some amazing books that are steamy and have a plot!
TJ Dallas (she/her) is a Scottish indie author of fifteen sapphic books. The Cardinal Series is eleven books of lesbian ‘erotica with plot’ featuring the Seven Deadly Sins, Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse, pirates, Valkyries and more! She also has two in the Erudite Shifters Series (book 3 currently in progress) and two standalone contemporary romance novellas.

My lovely friend, Mira Moore:
Her debut novel Burn Protocol just released two weeks ago.
Lieutenant Elena Gonzales has spent her life running away from her past and into the flames. Decorated, respected, and untouchable, she’s Barcelona’s most composed firefighter. Until journalist Maya Carter walks into her station with a recorder, a sharp tongue, and a story that’s supposed to be about bravery.
What starts as a forced assignment becomes something neither of them expects — a connection forged through smoke, loss, and banter over coffee. But when tragedy strikes, Elena’s walls shatter, and Maya finds herself holding more than just a story.
Now their love faces the same question as every call Elena answers:
when the world around you burns, what do you choose to save — your duty, your truth, or each other?
BURN PROTOCOL is a slow-burn sapphic romance about courage, vulnerability, and the women who walk through fire to help rise each other from the ashes.
Marine St. Jean (like the perfect name, right?)
Anne Rice but make it sapphic. Who doesn’t love a good vampire tale?
Pat, a proud butch with a boatload of trauma has had enough of everyone and everything. Except for her roommate from years ago, with whom she’s still hopelessly in love. She knows it could never have worked – Pat has too many secrets. Some of which even she doesn’t know, and her mother has always been evasive about those.
And one of them has reappeared, just in time to ruin her second chance.
Lisa’s boyfriend is fine, but she just can’t commit to forever. She’s been longing to stretch her wings and leave him and this small town for years. If only her old roommate, Pat were here to help her take the leap.
When she finds Pat living alone, just out of town, old feelings reignite. But things aren’t adding up when a girl with no memory appears. Bodies pile up. Old secrets spill. Memories return; ones that put Lisa in danger.
The last time Pat let herself believe that monsters deserved love, it ended in catastrophe – one that stands before her. Can she believe again to save the woman she loves?
My favorite podcaster (and friend) M.C. Hutson
M.C. has three published novels and a fun podcast you really need to listen to. She also has some of the best book reviews on her TikTok page.
This is just a small sample of the people that I have come to call friends. The amount of talent and diverse voices and stories has been what keep me sane in these insane times.
Let me know who you plan to check out!
… Oh… And before I leave, this is your friendly reminder that All That We Burn is out now. If you read it, don’t forget to review it.
